Halloween

We had a great Halloween! We carved pumpkins and made candy apples with the Collettes, went trunk or treating at our ward party and went Trick or Treating with the Clarks. We dressed up for our ward Trunk or Treat, Bailey was the Tooth Fairy, David was tooth paste, I was a tooth brush and Steven was Dental Floss.

David casted teeth out of stone and then I painted them with fingernail polish and put them on Bailey's necklace and braclet.

BaiLeY bABy

I thought it was about time to give a run-down on Bailey, so here we go.

  • She just turned 14 months old yesterday.

  • She has 10 teeth and 2 more on the way.

  • She starting walking 2 months ago, about a week after her birthday.

  • She can sign: please, more, all done, thank you.

  • She calls David "ga ga" for "da da".

  • She calls me "ma ma" but, only when she is crying.

  • She loves books. She brings them to us so we can read them to her.

  • She loves her necklaces, she takes them on and off and caries them around all day.

  • She throws her diapers away, and now all her toys.

  • She loves to dig in the garbage (David said she gets that from her aunts ;).

  • She has started to climb on everything.

  • She likes to sit on things that are just her size.

  • She likes to squeeze into small places.

  • She likes to pull all of my shoes out, put them on and try to walk.

  • She loves to cuddle.

I did a little photo shoot after church today.

She kept trying to bite the pumpkin and gourd.

Fall Fun

Last Saturday Bailey and I went with some friends to Love Creek Orchards out in Medina. It was quite the drive but defiantly worth it. The day started off nice and cool but turned hot pretty fast. It was such a neat place, very festive and a great way to get into the "fall spirit".

They had a little hay maze Bailey sat on the side of for some cute pictures. We went on a hay ride.

We painted pumpkins.

We played with the ponies.

Celeste and Carly got to check out a cool tp.

We held little baby chicks, they were adorable!

Ummm, Apple Dumpling!
It was such a pretty place.

I thought Bailey would love Mr. Scare Crow, I was wrong.

The kids had a great time too.

We are in!

We got a call Monday afternoon from UT San Antonio, they offered David one of the three spots avalible in their Endodontic program. We are so excited! This means that we will be staying here in San Antonio amongst our friends for two more years. All of David's hard work is paying off!

Florida

David has been flying all over the country these past two weeks interviewing at schools for an endodontic residency. I was the lucky girl that got to meet up with him in Florida over the weekend. I dropped Bailey off at David's parents house. It was the fist time I have ever left her over night. It was a great vacation! We flew in Thursday night, Friday David had his interviews so I explored a little on my own then ended up getting my hair highlighted on a whim. Saturday we drove to Clearwater Beach on the gulf side. It was really pretty. It was stormy all day long so we ended up driving across the state to St. Augstine, the oldest city in the US. It was really cute, it reminded me of Fredricksburg. The next morning we checked out the Jacksonville beach before we had to head to the airport.

Jacksonville Beach

This poor bird had string caught around his leg.

We saw this manaray swim by while we were on the pier.

We watched this bird swoop down and catch two fish, it was crazy!
We had to go see what people were catching off the piers. One guy caught this little shark so David wanted to hold it, weird I know.

St. Augustine
I love all the Spanish moss that hangs off the trees.

Cajun Boiled Peanut, delicious!

Clearwater Beach
You can see the storm coming in, we practically had the whole beach to our selves.

Gainesville

It was a fun surprise to find our friends Ryan and Ashley where interviewing at the same place. We haven't seen them in four years, (since BYU).

We had to go see some real gators since they are the schools mascot.

There were so many trees, it was gorgeous!

Hip Hip Hooray, It's Bailey's 1st Birthday!

As hard as it is to believe Bailey turned one this week! We did a lot of celebrating. First we went down to the coast over the weekend for a little sun and sand. Then we had a Birthday party with some friends. The next day Bailey and I went to the zoo with Grandma and Grandpa Martin and Sherri and Leann. We had a great time.

Bailey's Cake
I made the top two layers chocolate and the bottom one was a yellow cake. Then I frosted them with homemade butter cream frosting then decorated with homemade fondant. It took all day but it sure was fun!

Waiting for the party...

Zoo
Leann worked at the zoo in Utah over the summer and had some connections with the zoo here in San Antonio so we got the VIP treatment. They let us in for free and gave us a tour of all the animals that are kept in the back that are not on display for one reason or another. It was pretty cool. The best part though was getting to pet a rhino!

Bailey's favorite part was the fish, she must get it from her daddy.

Can you see the hippo?

I LOVE these berries! They are such a pretty color, I'm not sure what kind they are.

Hello

Scary

Salt Water Aquarium!

So, this super nice girl in the singles ward told Steven Morris that she had a tank she no longer wanted. Sure it is only 10 gallons but it was FREE. So, if it turns out to be remotely easy and entertaining I could really see myself getting into Salt Water Aquariuming... It came with 2 fish. Amber named one NEMO. Wow...Original, can you guess which one? The other toad looking one is something like... Scuddles. The new yellow and pink one is Juicy. If you want fish just let your wife name them, you get more that way. There is also a little crab named Ticklet. I found him this morning in an HEB bag in the kitchen. He can get out.

Packery Channel Beach Trip

We went to a new place this trip. It was AWESOME, blue water, no waves, good fishing, 50+ sea turtles, snorklers etc! I only caught 2 but between the bunch of us we had a few.

Almost Walking!

About a week ago Bailey started taking a couple of steps! It's so fun to watch her, she gets better at it every day. She is wearing a sun dress that I made for her out of a pillowcase.

Baby Bailey

Bailey is growing so fast! She now has 5 teeth. She loves to army crawl and gets going pretty fast. She has just started to pull herself up on things and can sit up from a laying down position.
She is so much fun!

Utah

We had a great summer vacation. We took three weeks and went to Utah. We split our time up between my sisters houses in Provo, my parents house in Emery County and a couple days in Wyoming. It was so fun to see a lot of my family and David's sisters and our friends. The time flew by. David said I'm no longer allowed to visit Utah in the summer because then I don't want to leave. We took a lot of pictures and they are not in order but at least I'm posting them. :)

Bailey with some of her fun cousins!

Sisters
We had a fun girls night out with my sisters at Olive Garden. We missed having my oldest sister Lannie with us.

Summer Days

We went up to visit David's family about a month ago and we found some beautiful fields of wild flowers. We just couldn't pass them up!

Bailey was practicing dental work.

We celebrated Ma Maa Lewis' 99th Birthday! She was David's neighbor when he was growing up and he used to cut her grass.

Bailey got to enjoy her first pork rib, she loved it!

Travis does it again, 15lb yellow, 32 fish for the two of us!

Adventure

Bailey loves riding in her backpack. She scratches Davids neck for him and tugs on his hair for entertainment. We took her to Ceiblo Creek. It was very pretty. We got in the river and fished and when we got out I looked down at my feet and thought I had leaves on them but they were LEACHES! There had to be over 5o all over my feet and up my legs. I was wearing crocks and they got inside too. David had to pull them off and then I got the rest out of my shoes with a stick. It was horrible! Needless to say I didn't get back in.

Lake Travis at it's BEST!!!

This was the first and the biggest one. Lindsey named him Norman because he is fat. I should have weighed him. I guess 15lbs, he was 30 inches. We caught 6 big cats, 4 over 27 inches.
Everyone caught whites. We kept 49!
Took us till 4am to clean them all.

Girls Just Want to Have Fun!

Another school year is coming to an end and that means a lot of our friends are going to be moving away. It's sad for us, and we are going miss all those that are leaving. At least it gave us an excuse to get together for a party!

Cute Cousins

Jenny and Ryleigh came to visit from Utah. Bailey and I were able to go up to Austin and play with them for a couple of days. It was so fun to get the little girls together. They love the Blue Bonnets, that is they loved to eat them! Bailey started choking and then threw up a 2 inch Blue Bonnet stem.

Thankfully Grandma came to the rescue.

Ryleigh is already crawing!

David

Spring Break Was Great!

We had a wonderful spring break, it was so nice to have David around with out school to interfere. We went to Austin and spent time with his grandparents who were visiting from Idaho. We went to the coast with our friends the Jarvis' for a couple of days. We took the boat out to Borne Lake and Bailey got her fist tooth! All in all it was quite the adventurous week!

Delaina Came to Texas!

My little sister Delaina was able to come down and visit this past week for her spring break. She got here late Tuesday night and flew out early Sunday morning. It was her fist time in Texas. We did a lot of fun things and the weather was great!

Bailey loved having her aunt around! We went down to the coast, David caught a ton of awesome fish! Spanish Mackrel!

This little girl was the cutest catch of all. :)
We attempted boggie boarding, sometimes we got lucky.

What is that thing?

The Collettes came down with us, we stayed in a hotel Friday night and played on the beach the next day.

Caught red handed!

Bailey loved the sand. I couldn't even get her to look up for a picture!

I don't know what kind of tree this is, but I love it!!

David marinated some of the fish he caught and wrapped it in bacon then cooked it out on the grill. I was so delicious!

Thursday Delaina and I went and got makeovers at La Cantera then we went shopping in San Marcos while David shadowed and endodontist. We ate at one of our favorite BBQ places, Coopers. After we all went to the cute little town of Gruene. It's almost like a smaller version of Fredricksburg.

Wednesday Delaina, Bailey and I went down town to the Mexican Market, Alamo and the River walk, unfortunately I forgot my camera. That evening we went with the Clarks and Steven to Boerne Lake with the canoe and jon boat then had wild pork fajitas on the "man pan".

Fredricksburg

Last weekend we decided it would be fun to go to Fredricksburg. If you have never been there before, you definitely should check it out some time. David's Parents met up with us there and we did a little shopping in the adorable little shops and had lunch. Rachael Orem had told me of a farm out is just outside of Fredricksburg, where you can go and pick fresh fruits and veggies. We went and picked strawberries. It was so fun! Then we went on a little tour of an old school house. It was a great weekend!

Picture Time!

We went and got professional pictures taken on Saturday, so we did a little practicing before. Bailey gets mesmerised every time she see the camera. It's so fun to take her picture. Celest Made this adorable little hat, I love it!

Then we went with the Jarvis and the Colletts to the Lake with our boat. I had a great birthday weekend!

4th year wedding anniversary

Our Anniversary is December 28th, and as a consequence every year it gets kind of pushed back because of all the Holiday hustle and bustle. So once we got home from Christmas vacation, David took me out to one of our favorite restaurants for some sushi and other delicious Japanese food.

Cute and Cuddly What a happy family! Ryleigh loved the fish!

Happy Halloween!

Halloween was a lot of fun this year. To start it off we went trunk-or-treating at the ward party, then up to David's parents house. Bailey dressed up as a carrot , David was a scarecrow and I was a farmer. We went trick-or-treating with Jennie and Puj who were dressed up as Mexican farmers and Ryleigh was a little, chili, pepper. We also made a fun, spooky, dinner.

I always loved playing house when I was younger. Now I get to play the real thing every day! It's so fun, I love being able to stay home and play with my own new, little, doll. One of my favorite things to do is dress her up and take her picture, she is just so cute!

Bailey lays on my lap while I do my make up in the morning. One day I just couldn't resit seeing what she would look like with a little mascara on her long lashes!

Bailey with her cousins Brealle and Clarris.

Camping

We took Bailey on her first camping trip! We went to Canyon Lake and took the boat out again. I brought my swimming suite and was excited to swim but it turned out to be a lot colder than I expected. We had a good time though. We went with Brandon and met up with David's friend Marshal from school. The fishing wasn't great but it was fun to get out.
Bailey even got to wear her camo!
She was so excited to camp!

The Boat

David and Brandon Jarvis bought a boat together and now almost every weekend is a new adventure!

We have spent many nights in Steven's shop getting the boat ready to take out.

All the hard work paid off with some big fish!

My sister Cheri and her husband Travis also came down on a bussiness trip and visited earlier that week. We had a great time. They left on a Thursday my water broke that night. Then we went up to David's parents house. Went shopping, had the pizza party and then went to the hospital the next morning (Sunday) and thats when I had Bailey!
Of corse we had to go to Bass Pro Shop. Travis wanted to buy one of these chairs so he could dress up in his camo and sleep on the chair with out his kids knowing where he was.
This is my last profile belly shot.

We love Rudys!

Photo Shoot

We took Bailey and Ryleigh to get their pictures taken. It was a lot harder than I thought it would be. Bailey was crying most of the time and sleeping the rest.

Bullet!

Last weekend David's family came to visit. His sister Jennie was sleeping in the living room with her husband Nathan and new baby Ryleigh. Around 5:00 am we all heard a really loud noise that woke us up. David went out side to see what was going on and our neighbor was out there drunk as can be. He shook David's hand and was saying something over and over that David couldn't understand. Not long after David came inside we heard someone just start shooting. We grabbed the babies and ran into our room and huddled on the floor. David called 911 and we waited for them to come. Nathan went out into the living room and found a big bullet hole through our wall! Come to find out it was our neighbor that had shot the gun through his door. The first noise that woke us up was the first shot. Then he fired 6 others out into the parking lot. We found the bullet in between where the air mattress that Jennie and Nathan were on and the couch, about a yard away from where their baby was sleeping. The cops confiscated around 15 other guns they found in his apartment. The guy who shot said someone was trying to break into his apartment and he told them he would shoot if they didn't leave. Who knows if he was telling the truth or not, needless to say the guy and his girl friend were evicted from the complex.

The bullet went through wall, through the lamp and ricocheted off two walls before it landed.
This is the hole in the neighbor's door.
Here are some of the guns.

Baby Blessings

Last Sunday we had a combined baby blessing for Bailey and her new little cousin Ryleigh, who was born Sept. 11th. It was really nice. We did it at David's parents house and had a couple of family friends come. My parents had come down for the week so both sets of grand parents were there. Sister Morris made Bailey's dress, it turned out really pretty.

I'm finally getting around to posting some of the many pictures that we have been taking lately. Bailey is so fun and cute. I love watching David get sucked in by her charm.

It's a good thing I couldn't feel any of these, I love epidurals!
Bailey had jaundice so she had to be under these blue light for 24hrs. She got to wear some cool shades!

David gave Bailey her first bouquet of flowers, they even matched her room.David bought me my own flowers.

David was thrilled to see Bailey's fascination of fish!

Bailey is cuter than i hoped she would be. She came home tuesday night and is great during the day. As soon as her daddy is ready for bed she is ready for breakfast- I had to sleep on the couch the first night. The second night she slept much better. Ok, enough of this...lets get up some pictures.

Baby Shower!!

I sure am a lucky girl! I've made some great friend down here in San Antonio. Jami, Lyssa, Jill, and Linsay threw me an awesome baby shower on Wednesday. They did lot of work and it turned out great! They decorated so cute, had fun games, and good food. There was a great turn out. It was fun to see so many friends together at once. I got spoiled with tons of fun presents. I just want to say thanks to everyone that came!

Family in San Antonio

My cousin Nathan and his family moved down to San Antonio about a year ago. It's been fun getting to know him and his cute family. They live about 20 min. away. We went over there for Sunday dinner and we were able to meet my Aunt's best friend Gale.

Wild Pig Roast

With all of the pig hunt success we had lately we needed to clear out some room in our freezers, so we had a bunch of people over for a big pig roast. It was a lot of fun and a lot of food!

Bullet Belly!

Everyone keeps telling me I'm going to regret not taking pictures of my pregnant belly so here we go! This was taken last week at 33 weeks along. It seams to grow bigger and bigger every day! I'm still feeling great, but I'm getting a little more tired now. I'm going to work up until July 31st and then have all of August to get ready for this little girl's arrival and come up with a name. We are super excited and scared!

Watch out!

It's about time for me to catch up with the blogging world. I can't believe that David's summer vacation is already over! We have been able to do a lot of fun things though. Most of which consisted of fishing poles and guns.
Friday night we went up to David's parents house after fishing Travis. Saturday we went and shot some scary assault rifles! It was pretty fun though. Sunday we went to church with Jennie and Puj and then went and watched David's friend Joseph baptise his little girl Angle.
And I believed them when they said it didn't kick!

More fish!

This past weekend we went up to Lake Travis again. Clinton, Quinton, Jill, Jennie, Puj, Brent, Amber (Brent's girlfriend), David and I all went. We never have to worry about having to buy fish around here!

Pig Hunt!

Over the forth of July, David, Puj, Emory (David's Dad), Brian and I all went down to Brian's Ranch. We had a great time. David shot his first pig with his new gun! He cleaned and skinned it and we have had some great pork dinners. It tastes awesome! We also did some arrow head hunting and found some nice pieces and scrapers. All in all it was a very successful trip!

Mervin's Wedding

My BIG (6'6")brother Mervin got married on June 7th to Aron. David and I were able to fly up to Utah for the wedding. It was a quick trip, but we had a great time. David was the official photographer for the wedding and he did an awesome job! It was so fun to see all of my family (two parents, six sister, two brothers, five brother in-laws, Seven nephews, eight and a half nieces, wowzers!) .

Here are some of David's presents

South Padre Party!

Wow! David is completely done with his second year of dental school! He did awesome this year and still has a 4.0! He has worked so hard and has done a great job. So, to celebrate we went down to South Padre with his sister and her husband (Jennie and Nathan). None of us have ever been there so we thought it would be a fun adventure. We got there Thursday night and stayed until Saturday. We had a great time. However, we were disappointed in the lack of fishing options. They only had one pier/jetty on the whole island and it closed at 11pm. That might not sound so bad, but when your a dedicated fisherman who likes to stay up all night fishing, it's almost enough to spoil the trip. We even thought about leaving early and driving up to Corpus Christi. Friday we went shopping and then went and played on the beach. It was overcast and we all got super sun burned. Saturday we left early and drove to Choke Canyon and fished and saw a lot of scary alligators!

Nursey Decorations!

I've been having a lot fun buying and making decorations for our new little girls room. Too bad I don't have a place to put all of them yet. Hopefully we will be able to move into a two bedroom apt. in June. I started off putting these flowers in a tall, glass, vase. We found out very quickly that it was not baby proof when it shattered the first night I got it. So, I went for something a little more sturdy...a metal basket.

I've been looking around for a chandelier to hang over the crib and I found this one at Ikea for cheap, I was really excited!

I also found these lights at Ikea, they hang from the ceiling. They were on sale because they had been used as a display. They were just the right color. David told me I had to choose between the chandelier or the lights but I choose them all.

I got this cute rug at Fallas Padres, I'll put it in front of the crib.

I saw some painting like these on Pottery Barn's web sight, so I got some canvas and painted my own!

Wooden flowers from Hobby Lobby

I painted these mirrors along time ago and they seam to match with my other stuff so I just glued some flowers on them and changed the ribbon to match.

Lake Travis

The past two weekends in row we went up to our favorite fishing spot on Lake Travis. We took Linsey, Brandon and Steven with us the fist trip. We all stayed the night at David's sister's house. We went to Ikea the next morning and made it back in time for me to go to work.
The next weekend we met Clinton, Brittany, Cliff and John there. We caught a lot of fish. It was kind of scary because there was a tornado warning for the surrounding area and it started raining and lightening so much that David made me run in the rain and go sit in the car so I wouldn't get electrocuted. Even though I missed about an hour of fishing before the rain let up I still caught just as many fish as the boys!

We Found Out!

We went in for another ultra sound last Thursday and we are having a baby GIRL! Wow that was a surprise! I totally expected it to be a boy, however, I told David I was secretly hoping it was a girl. He is also excited for a girl now. It was so fun to see how much she has grown. We got it all recorded on DVD. How fun! Let the shopping begin!

Twilight

I've been swept away by the Twilight tide! After hearing so much about these books I decided I was not going to miss out any longer and see for my self if they were as good as everyone has talked them up to be. Needless to say I've been missing from the blogging world and every thing else for the last week and a half. I finished the fist two book in 6 days and I'm now half way through the 3rd. David has hid them from me multiple time now! I think it is great pay back for all the Halo nights. I'm getting sad that I'm almost done but I'm also a little grateful because I will be able to get something done with out wishing I was lost in the world of vampires!

General Conference Weekend

We went up to David's parents house to watch General Conference with them. We had a Easter egg dying party because we ran out of time while we were up there over Easter and that is something you just can't skip.

Final Four

Steven, David and I went down town to join in the celibration for the Final Four Play offs, even though we don't know what that is. But they did have a lot of free concerts! We got to see Fall out Boy which I enjoyed a lot more than David and Steven, and see some great fire works.

Black's Ranch

Last week was David's spring break. I was able to get a couple days off of work so David, Steven, Brian and I all went down to Brian's ranch. We left Sunday night and stayed until Tuesday night. I even hunted all by myself, in my own blind. I didn't shoot a turkey like I wanted but I did get a rabbit, and then I felt bad. David shot a pig but it got back up and ran away. We all fished and caught around 50 or more little Sun fish and Large Mouth Bass, but we threw them all back. David found 4 arrow heads and we both each found a scraper. We had a great time. Next time I'll get a turkey!

Bastrop

David's Dad went on a scout camp out in Bastrop last Friday. We thought it would be fun to surprise him and already be at his sight when they arrived. Little did we know it involved their whole Stake and no girls were allowed. So I did my best to look like a twelve year old boy by wearing my hood and not talking. Luckily it was dark so we didn't get caught. We ended up camping at a different park near by and then went back in the morning to eat breakfast with them. It was so pretty up there. All the wild flowers were blooming and It was so green. They even had pine trees! It was almost like we were in the mountains again. We took a lot of pictures and of course fished. It was just so nice to be out side and smell the fresh air. I Love camping!

Guadalupe River

David and I went with some of our friends fishing on the Guadalupe River. Although we didn't have great success we all had a good time.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Picnic!

I love picnics! They are one of my most favorite activities. Maybe because it combines two wonderful things, food and outdoors. Here are some pictures from one of our lates excursions. We went with the Blacks and Linsey to one of our favorite parks. We had a great time.

The Phantom of the Opera

Thursday David and I were able to go with some of our friends to the Phantom of the Opera! It was awesome! I've been wanting to see it ever since I can remember. When the movie came out we had to buy it and the sound track. So when I heard the play was coming to San Antonio I was so excited! We all went out to dinner at the Huston Street Bistro (which was very fancy) and got done just in time for the play. Steven was the one who got the whole thing together and it turned out great.

Exciting News!

We are PREGNANT! I'm 3 months along and my due date is Sept. 3rd. We are very excited! I went to the doctor for the fist time on Monday and they did an ultra sound. I was surprised to see that it already looks like a baby. We could see its heart beat and the brain, it was really neat. Hopefully we will be able to tell if it's a boy or a girl at my next appointment in 4 weeks. David is already convinced that it is a boy. I haven't really had any morning sickness, which I'm told is a blessing. I get a little queasy at night sometimes but other than that I've been doing great! Here are some pictures of the ultra sound.
This is a profile shot of the baby. Its head is on the right and its legs on the left. Wow!

This is the baby looking at the camera strait on. You can see its eyes and nose. I think this one is a little scary looking though :)

Canyon Lake

David finally had a free weekend and I only had to work until 1:00 on Saturday so we took advantage of the great weather we've been having and went camping at Canyon Lake. We had a great time. We loaded Dave's canoe on top of his truck and spent the rest of day light out on the lake. We only caught one fish, a big large mouth, but it was so nice to be out side! When we got back to camp I set the tent up in the dark while David made us a fire so we could tried out our new cowboy cooker the Steven made for us. It worked great we made pineapple pork chops with Onions, peppers and mushrooms, it was so delicious! After dinner we watched part of a movie in the tent until the computer batteries died but that was ok because we had to wake up at 6:00 to be home and ready for church at 9:00.

We had a lot of fun playing with our new camera. We just got a Canon Power Shot s51s and we love it! Now we just need to get a tri-pod.

Happy Birthday!

I turned 22 on the 31st of January. I had a great Birthday. I was able to go into work early so I would be able to have the night off. David took me to my favorite resturant for dinner,The Macaroni Grill, then we went to the Temple. After we came home I put on my pjs and was getting ready for bed when there was a knock at the door and our apt was soon filled with friends, cake and ice cream! Thanks to evryone who came over and for all the fun presents! We had a great time.

David had Monday off in celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. He put a lot of good hours in of studying at the library and then came home early! He took me to Bracken Ridge Park. It was so pretty! We fished for a little bit and then walked around and took some fun pictures. There was hardly anyone else there. It was really foggy but not cold. After we met up with Jamiee and Brian at PF Changs for some yummy dinner.

Utah

I got really spoiled this year for Christmas. One of my great presents was a plane ticket to Utah. I was able to go visit my family while David had to go back to school. :( It was perfect timing though, because my sister had a baby girl! She named her Jessy Kay Childs. She is so adorable! Our dog patch had puppies on the same day, kinda funny.

I got to see Josh and Martha, our friends from Provo, with there cute little boy Madson. I went to help my dad with the chores but really all I did was take pictures. I got a new camera so had a lot of fun taking pictures and playing around with all the different settings.

3rd Year Wedding Anniversary

David and I decided to celebrate our anniversary a little early instead of waiting until the 28th of December when there is allot of family around other things going on. Thursday we drove out to Llano and ate at Coopers (The best bbq ever!). Then we fished alittle in the Llano River and then we drove out to Fredricksburg. We looked through all the cute little shops and stay at an adorable bed and breakfast. It was so nice to get away and not have to worry about anything!

Finals Finished, Fishing Trip!

After two weeks of finals, it was finally time to fish. Clinton, Quinton, Paul, Brandon, Nathan, Jennie, David and I all went to the coast Thursday night. We got down there around 1:00am and fished off Copano Bay Bridge until 6:00am! The boys were going to go bay fishing on a boat at 8:00, but the boat wasn't running so we all went to the jetties to fish. There was an old man there that was reeling in big sheeps head one after another. He gave us some pointers and some of his ghost shrimp for bait. It wasn't till after his help that we started to catch them. We caught all different kinds of fish: speckled sea trout, hard head catfish, sculpin, stingray, black drum, sheeps head, flounder, blue crab, sand trout, pompano, whiting, piggy perch, croaker, and a couple unidentified fish. Clinton even managed to catch a muscle, although we can't figure out just how. Quinton, Clinton, Brandon and Paul went home after that and the rest of us stayed and went out to lunch at the Big Fisherman with David's Aunt and then we drove home. We had a great Trip!

Jennie told Brandon to see if he could feed the pelican by hand.... that probably wasn't the smartest idea!

I got all four of my wisdom teeth out last Friday at the dental school. It wasn't too bad, especially when I got my surprises for being so brave! Wow, Barbie Sea Island Princess cereal and a little, sparkly, Christmas tree with red bows! Thanks David!

Doing what we do best!

Last weekend we were able to go fish Lake Travis, which we haven't had the chance to do in a long time. It was a lot of fun. Steven came and brought the Wildung kids and we met Clinton, Quinton and Jill there. It was a pretty successful trip and our freezer in now restocked with fish.
Bradley Wildung outfished all his sisters and even David 3 to 1!

Monster Mania

Steven, Kiyomi, David and I went to a monster truck rally on Friday. They had a little bit of free style motorcycles, some four wheeler races and some really big, loud, scary, monster trucks! It was allot of fun. The best part was we all got in for $2.50 compared to the regular $20 a ticket due to the charm of Kiyomi and Steven.

David was really excited! Steven and Kyiomi That's a man flying in the air on his motorcycle!

Wild Willie

Willie Nelson graced us with his presence last Thursday night at the Floore Country Store in Helotes. Steven was able to secure David and I the last of the limited number of tickets. There were 2500 Willie fans that showed up. It was quite the party!

This store is where Willie use to play when he first began.

We were all decked out in our "cowboy getup", boots and all. We had some great seats right in front of the outhouses! What a handsome cowboy! The Morris FamilyAfter a long wait Willie finally came on stage.

He is really good on the guitar!

This is a painting on the back of his bus.

And the winner is...

The results are in and short and dark are the winners! However I do believe there was a little bit of bribery that went on. Sneaky David started paying people off to vote for the short and dark, but I guess if it really means that much to him then I should do it. It took me two hair cuts to get brave enough to go this short but I'm glad I did. I put some low lights through the top and around my hair line but I'm going to go even darker.

Dark or Light? Which Length is Right?

I'm getting really tired of my hair and I'm not sure what I want to do with it. I've been wanting to grow it out but then I see a lot of cute short cuts and it makes me want to cut mine. Then comes the question of which color. I want to stick with blondes and browns. (Red is not for me). Right now I am at an awkward stage with both color and length, so I thought 'why not get some more opinions'. I'm going to run a poll. You can vote for: long or short, and blonde or brown. I have some pictures to help you decide.

TGF Hair Salon

I got my first job as a hair stylist! I'm working at TGF Haircutters. It's a Regis full service salon. It's located up Bandera Road on the out side of 1604 right next to the new Golds Gym. I've been working there for a little over three weeks. I really enjoy it for the most part. It's a lot of fun to meet all different kinds of people. I'm learning a lot of new techniques and trying to get my speed up. We are usually busy, which is a big change from hair school. It can get kind of stressful at times but it makes the time go by a lot faster when we are busy. I'm working full time. I get Sundays off and one other random day throughout the week. My boss is pretty nice. When I went to interview I took my portfolio and resume with me, she looked through them and hired me on the spot! I get paid 40% commission on all services 10% on retail plus tips. Men's cut are $13.95 and $10.00 on Tuesdays, Women's are $15.95 and kids are $9.95. It's fun to finally be paid! So if anyone is tired of their hair and wants a change just let me know. I'm still doing services from home for cheap, so if you want to come over just let me know.

A couple of weeks ago we went down to Brian Black's ranch. Although we go to hunt for hogs we also get to spend time doing allot of other fun things like taking pictures, hiking, and looking for Indian artifacts. Pretty Butterfly

UTAH

David sent me to visit my family while he started his first week of school. I'm having a great time! We've been camping, and arrow head hunting. We found some pretty cool pottery! Then we had a girls party with six of my seven sisters and my mom. My camera has stopped working so I only have pictures from the Beginning of this week.

More Fishing Fun

Here are some more fishing pictures. Some are from Ciblo Creek and some are from Lake Travis. This is what we spend most of our free time doing.
